#Settlers 3 mushrooms series
It's probably fair to say that most of the game will be very familiar to most of the series veterans, but for those of you that aren't familiar with the series, I'll give a little overview that may help out a little. You'll still need to build up those armies to wipe your not so friendly neighbors off the map, but in order to get to do this, you're really going to have to spend the time building up a strong infrastructure in order to secure the best troops for your use. This isn't to say that the combat will be left out of the game by any means. As with the first two in the series, Settlers IV will put more emphasis on the economic buildup of your civilization. So this time around, the team decided to take some steps forward, but a few backwards as well.

Not only because the game took on more of a focus on combat situations and domination by might, but also because most really didn't like that that had become the focus of the game. The last edition in the series had some of the more diehard fans of the series up in arms. Settlers IV is on the way very soon, and this time around, the game will be traversing space and time to get back to it's more simmy economic roots from whence it came along with a couple of surprises, including a new magical evil race, to make the trip back worth it. Now all of you that are part of that group and those of you that are interested in becoming part of that group are in for a treat.

The Settlers series has developed a pretty good following over the years since the first game was released.
